Tails of success how  Dr. C helped our pets..

"I started with Dr. C after a biting incident with my dog.  She is deaf and we got her from the Denver Dumb Friends.  After a couple of days, she showed signs of being afraid of strangers, and would go 'shriek barking' when there were 'strangers' at the house.  The friend she bit had had an issue with one of her dogs, and highly recommended Dr. C.   My first visit with Dr. C was very relaxing.  Her room was set up to keep everyone (including Rebel) feeling safe.  We talked for quite some time, and she watched Rebel's actions during the meeting.  We set up a beginning plan, and then subsequently, about every 4 - 6 weeks we had a phone visit and fixed the plan according to Rebel's improvement or decline (mostly improvements).  Rebel is now a pretty happy dog (although, she is still working through her fears).  She has become very playful, and loves toys especially balls!  Her and our other dog love to do tug of war with rope toys, and they play chase and have a great time together.  If I find that I am in need of help with her again, I will certainly call Dr. C."

"I was referred to Dr C because my dog had a history of separation anxiety and biting.  She provided me with behavior techniques to work with my dog to help manage her behaviors to where we could understand what the triggers were for them and avoid those triggers whenever possible.  She is a much calmer, happier dog now, probably because I am a much calmer and happier trainer/owner.  I use the same techniques to other areas of training and they work like a charm.  She's the same dog with the same traits that come with her breed, but learning to work with that makes life so much easier!"
